The CMLC
CMLC (CHAPTER Mobile Learning Center) is a mobile hybrid all-in-one educational platform for in-person and distance learning/instructions. The CMLC not only an extension of the classroom (supporting the physical class structure and current/future curriculums), the CMLC provides an original series of signature programs (not offered in most schools). It's also designed to be utilized as a networking channel, training platform, and entrepreneurial on-ramp for learning the basic skills of broadcasting, photography (fashion), graphic design, graphic novel publishing, advertising & promotions, and business start-up!
The CMLC is Portable and Versatile: This extremely unique mobile platform can be set up in virtually any open space such as gyms, event halls, youth facilities, community centers, and as a pop-up. Each piece of equipment in the CMLC Platform can be arranged to provide the optimal teaching environment—suitable for kids, teens, adults, students, teachers/instructors, and business professionals.
The CMLC is Expandable: The CMLC Platform (meeting social distancing protocols) provides all the equipment, laptops, seating, instructions, and assistance to meet in-person and distance learning structures. As the need arises, the CMLC Platform can be increased to accommodate a large occupancy while still maintaining social distance protocols.

Impact on Education
For years, many educational facilities have fallen prey to budget cuts, causing the loss of major courses and vital programs. Now, due to the 2020 pandemic, these problems have been devastatingly amplified (excerpted from Oct. 26, 2020, NY Times article Colleges Slash Budgets in the Pandemic, With ‘Nothing Off-Limits’).
As school closers and minimum access to tech for distance learning, push many educational facilities to cut or consolidate core programs, the CMLC is the best affordable alternative for offsetting discontinued curriculums, while remaining in touch with students, encouraging and increasing student educational interest, and providing viable programs to address the impact on education… especially in economically disadvantaged communities.
